On tour, we often have company classes on stage. Here are the male dancers working on their balances.

The backbend helps to strengthen the muscles and improve flexibility, especially if you have to hold it for more than a few minutes!

Being able to touch your toes is a must if you want to master the myriad of difficult jumps, flips, and techniques in Classical Chinese dance.
